Job Purpose

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service on the shop floor, quickly addressing customer needs, and ensuring an optimal shopping experience to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly, ensuring excellent service in line with company standards
• Engage in up-selling, cross-selling, and suggesting alternatives to enhance the shopping experience
• Process and receive shipments, maintain stock accuracy, and report any incidents or thefts
• Organize and replenish shelves, keeping the shop floor clean and aligned with brand image
• Handle POS transactions and customer payments efficiently and accurately
• Measure garments for alterations and coordinate pricing (specific to Fashion)
• Promote add-on products and services (specific to Multimedia & Lifestyle)
• Monitor stock availability and report underperforming items (specific to Multimedia, Sports, and Leisure)
• Arrange merchandise displays based on sales trends and new arrivals

Required Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 0–1 year in a similar retail or customer service role

Language Skills:

• Fluency in English

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Special Expertise (Depending on Category):

• Sports Goods Retail: Teamwork, initiative, responsibility, and customer empathy
• Multimedia & Lifestyle: Knowledge of technology, books, music, and lifestyle trends
