Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support our growing client portfolio. In this role, you will assist in daily accounting operations including data entry, reconciliations, and financial report preparation. You will work closely with our senior accountants to ensure that all records are accurate, compliant, and up to date, while benefiting from flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions such as invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and post journal entries in the accounting system.
• Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
• Assist with VAT documentation, returns, and audit preparation.
• Support in generating trial balances, financial statements, and management reports.
• Maintain organized files and ensure all accounting documentation is properly stored.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks such as backlog data cleanup and client reporting.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred (fresh graduates may also apply).
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage part-time hours efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the UAE.
