Since 2009, we’ve been working to revolutionize personal transportation and are now launching one of the world’s first air taxi services in partnership with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Human Resources Manager to join our team in Dubai and help launch our first commercial eVTOL air taxi service in the UAE. Reporting to the Global Employee Relations Lead in the U.S. and working closely with the UAE General Manager, this individual will lead HR operations across the region and serve as a key liaison for all people-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end HR support across the UAE and Middle East region.
• Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and payroll processes.
• Lead local recruitment and talent acquisition efforts.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies aligned with UAE labor laws.
• Foster strong employee relations, team morale, and workplace engagement.
• Conduct investigations and manage employee relations issues.
• Deliver coaching and support on talent development and performance management.
• Act as a local subject matter expert on HR practices and compliance.
• Coordinate daily office operations, including visitors, swag, and reimbursements.
• Support the planning and execution of local events and team activities.
• Perform additional duties as needed by local and U.S.-based leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE labor laws, WPS, and visa processes.
• Experience with HRIS systems, G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools.
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Knowledge of local talent pools and recruiting best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a start-up or fast-scaling environment.
• Familiarity with the aviation or transportation industry is a plus.
