Job Overview

As a Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for processing and evaluating health insurance claims with a high level of accuracy and a strong focus on customer service. This role involves interaction with both internal departments and external customers to ensure timely and accurate claims processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and input claims into the system with accuracy and speed.
• Deliver excellent customer service to members by providing clear, timely responses to claims-related inquiries.
• Make customer-focused decisions using sound judgment and within policy guidelines.
• Investigate and follow up on claims by liaising with other departments via phone or email to gather necessary information.
• Resolve queries in line with Bupa Global policy and standards.
• Contribute toward team and departmental goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications and Criteria

• UAE National with a valid family book (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (degree certificate required)
• Relevant experience in the UAE market
• Experience in health insurance, life insurance, banking, or other financial services sectors
• Familiarity with medical terminology or a medical background is an advantage
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to meet or exceed productivity and quality targets
