Treasury and Cash Management Accountant Full Time

Our client is a leading FMCG importer and exporter of fresh fruits and vegetables, with a solid reputation for delivering premium produce across local and international markets.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bank and Treasury Accountant to lead treasury operations and banking account reconciliation for a high-volume FMCG company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing multiple bank accounts, foreign currency transactions, and ensuring ERP system accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Banking and Treasury Accounting team to ensure accurate general ledger (GL) bank balances through effective bank statement reconciliations and internal controls.

  • Ensure all changes related to suppliers (new creation or updates) in the ERP and banking systems are fully compliant with company policy.

  • Monitor and reconcile Post-Dated Cheques (PDC) issued and received in the trial balance, ensuring accuracy with subledger records.

  • Become a super-user of the M3 ERP system for Banking, Treasury, and Accounts Receivable (Cheque Returned) modules.

  • Minimize manual intervention by streamlining and optimizing ERP-based processes.

  • Handle multi-currency bank accounts and conduct related forex transactions accurately.

  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for treasury activity and compliance updates.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Banking & Treasury functions within a large FMCG company.

  • Strong hands-on experience managing multiple bank accounts and foreign exchange (forex) currencies.

  • Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office are essential.

  • Professional certification such as CPA (US), CFA, CA, or equivalent is mandatory.

  • Experience as an ERP super-user (SAP or Oracle); familiarity with M3 ERP is a strong advantage.
