Transaction Banking Sales Specialist Full Time

Role Summary

As a Cash Management Sales Specialist, you will support the growth of cash management revenue in the UAE by acquiring new clients, expanding wallet share with existing clients, and providing innovative cash solutions. The role requires strong product knowledge, relationship-building skills, and the ability to work across corporate and financial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Originate new-to-bank mandates and build a strong sales pipeline.

  • Expand relationships and wallet share with existing clients.

  • Promote Barclays’ suite of cash management solutions.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for corporate and financial institution clients.

  • Provide tailored advice and ensure high-quality client servicing.

  • Understand client needs and deliver bespoke treasury solutions.

Strategic Execution

  • Collaborate across departments to support product implementation and service delivery.

  • Contribute to market strategies and sales campaigns.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Track performance metrics, revenue goals, and client engagement.

  • Analyze feedback and identify improvement areas to enhance service offerings.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Advise stakeholders, contribute to policy development, and guide junior colleagues.

  • Take ownership of projects and work collaboratively to meet strategic goals.

Key Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience in cash management or transaction banking.

  • Strong background in banking or financial services.

  • Client-facing or sales experience, particularly with corporates or financial institutions.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

Preferred

  • Arabic language proficiency.

  • Experience working with non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs).

  • Exposure to multinational clients and large institutional portfolios.
