Teaching Assistant – Mirdif Rehab Center, Dubai Full Time

Job Summary:

Mirdif Physio & Rehab Center is a trusted name in Dubai, offering world-class physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation services for children and adults. We are currently looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our educational support team. The successful candidate will assist teachers and therapists in delivering individualized learning and rehabilitation programs, ensuring every child receives the guidance and support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher and therapy staff in planning, preparing, and implementing classroom and therapy activities.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN), learning challenges, or developmental delays through one-on-one and group sessions.
• Encourage active participation, engagement, and confidence-building in students during lessons and therapy exercises.
• Maintain accurate student progress notes and communicate observations to the teacher or therapist.
• Create and organize educational materials, visual aids, and classroom resources that support lesson objectives.
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment at all times.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops to continuously enhance professional skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience working with children in an educational, therapeutic, or rehabilitation setting is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and observational skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to promoting children’s learning and emotional well-being.
• Ability to multitask, follow directions, and work effectively within a team.
