Staff Supervision & Airline Compliance
Oversee a designated team to ensure all catering tasks meet airline requirements effectively, in full compliance with airline standards and internal procedures.
Catering Orders & Inventory
Review flight catering estimates and prepare detailed orders aligned with final passenger counts and any additional airline service requests.
Meal Preparation Coordination
Supervise tray setups according to airline specifications and organize the collection of meals, dry goods, beverages, bar stock, and duty-free items.
Flight Catering Uplift
Monitor and assist in the safe and secure loading/offloading of trolleys and containers, ensuring all catering equipment is properly sealed and delivered to cabin crew.
Documentation & Handover
Ensure all flight-related paperwork is accurately prepared, signed by relevant parties, and archived to support invoicing and service verification.
Quality Control
Immediately report any non-compliant or defective items from production to the Duty Officer and ensure corrective actions are followed.
Quality & Safety Standards
Consistently apply the EKFC Quality Policy and procedures aligned with ISO 9001:9000 standards. Execute duties while maintaining high levels of food safety, hygiene, and service quality.
This position operates within Emirates Flight Catering’s high-demand facility at Dubai International Airport, servicing over 100 airlines around the clock. The operations team functions across specialized units, requiring strong on-ground coordination. As a Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal front-line role, directly managing uplifts and collaborating with multi-level personnel to maintain operational efficiency and safety.
Your role ensures timely preparation, secure transportation, and delivery of in-flight meals, with constant oversight of food temperature standards, crew documentation, and service timelines.
Minimum Education:
O-Level certificate or equivalent (Required)
Completion of on-the-job and mandatory safety/quality training (Required)
Further hospitality/catering qualifications (Preferred)
Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within flight catering or aviation support services
Strong written and spoken English
Effective supervisory and leadership capabilities
Excellent communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and resolve on-ground issues
Familiarity with food safety and airline catering standards
