Role Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will design, deliver and monitor learning programmes tailored to students with diverse learning needs. They will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary professionals, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic student development and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) in line with students’ strengths, challenges and learning goals.
• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons using inclusive and evidence-based approaches.
• Support students’ social, emotional and academic development and monitor progress through regular assessment and data-tracking.
• Collaborate with therapists, support staff, external agencies and families to promote consistency and best practice across all learning contexts.
• Maintain comprehensive records of student performance, behaviour, interventions and progress and provide regular feedback to stakeholders.
• Employ positive behaviour management strategies and champion the rights, dignity and independence of each learner.
• Participate in professional development, contribute ideas for curriculum improvement and stay current with advances in special education.
• Support a classroom environment that is safe, nurturing, inclusive and aligned with the values of SEED.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Inclusive Education or related field.
• Valid teaching qualification and eligibility for the relevant education authority registration in the UAE.
• Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs, preferably within small group or inclusive settings.
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills; able to build effective partnerships with colleagues and families.
• Compassionate, flexible and student-centred mindset, with a commitment to high standards of professional ethics and inclusive practice.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning profiles and to monitor impact.
