What You’ll Do

• Your mission is to turn complex business needs into scalable, automated systems that enable every team to work more efficiently.

Key Objectives:

• Automate critical workflows across departments
• Scale systems for global growth
• Free up time for teams by eliminating repetitive tasks
• Implement AI agents and bots to enhance operations
• Design intuitive, robust backend systems
• Build smart, reliable, and easy-to-use processes

Responsibilities

1. Design & Build Scalable Automations

• Use tools like n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Python/JS scripts
• Build multi-step workflows with conditions, retries, and error handling
• Manage automation lifecycle: ideation to deployment and maintenance

2. API Integration & Custom Apps

• Integrate services via REST, GraphQL, OAuth, and webhooks
• Self-host internal tools or dashboards when necessary
• Build microservices to bridge low-code/no-code and custom dev gaps

3. Data Architecture

• Design data structures using Airtable, Notion, or relational databases
• Manage access, governance, and permission systems
• Build workflows that scale with the company

4. Workflow Optimization & Monitoring

• Refactor and improve existing automations
• Implement fail-safes, alerts, and uptime monitoring
• Ensure system reliability and speed

5. AI & GPT Bot Deployment

• Implement GPT-powered bots and assistants
• Connect bots to internal tools and APIs
• Help teams build custom AI agents for repetitive tasks

6. Documentation & Team Enablement

• Write clear documentation for every system
• Train and support internal teams
• Anticipate edge cases and focus on user experience

Tools & Stack

• Automation/Ops: n8n (self-hosted), Make.com, Zapier, Python, JavaScript
• Data/Workflow: Airtable, Notion, Google Sheets, Supabase, PostgreSQL
• APIs & Integration: REST, GraphQL, OAuth, Webhooks, JSON, Regex
• Hosting: Docker, Firebase, Railway, Cloud Run, Vercel, Render
• AI/Assistants: OpenAI, LangChain, Pinecone, Weaviate

Must-Have Experience

• Built and shipped automation systems across teams
• Strong API fluency and authentication handling
• Experience self-hosting and maintaining tools
• Background in chatbot or AI assistant integration
• Passion for simplifying systems and empowering teams
• Comfortable working across teams and documenting clearly
