Senior Pediatrician Full Time

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pediatrician to provide comprehensive care to children from birth up to 12 years. The role includes outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, emergency coverage, and collaborative support for other departments. You will work in accordance with the highest medical and ethical standards in pediatrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions including infectious diseases, cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, hematology, and endocrinology
• Perform pediatric consultations in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (lab, imaging, etc.)
• Prescribe treatments and follow up on patient outcomes
• Provide consultative services to departments such as Surgery and OB/GYN
• Participate in on-call duties for pediatric emergencies
• Stay updated with the latest in pediatric care through journals and conferences
• Attend scheduled training and case review meetings
• Ensure adherence to medical ethics and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical degree from a recognized institution
• Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics or equivalent UK MRCP (Paediatrics)
• Minimum 3 years’ post-residency experience in pediatrics
• Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an asset)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High ethical standards and patient-focused attitude
