About the Role:
VIKING is looking for an Assistant Service Technician to join our dedicated team in Dubai. If you have experience in the marine industry, especially within fire services, and a passion for safety, this could be the opportunity for you. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and service at our station, ensuring we continue to deliver top-quality marine and fire safety equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:

Compliance & Safety: Follow the QHSE Manual, global procedures, and ensure service station compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 45001.

Service & Maintenance: Assist in service activities for Marine Fire Services (MFS) according to VIKING’s MFS manual, ensuring proper housekeeping and maintenance of tools.

Reporting & Problem Solving: Report complaints or non-conformities immediately and participate in corrective action plans.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Certified Service Technician and Service Manager to solve issues, handle complaints, and ensure service quality.

Inventory Management: Ensure the proper use of spare parts and handle waste disposal according to procedures.

Additional Support: Be flexible in supporting other departments when required and help in the condemnation and disposal of equipment as per VIKING standards.
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant technical experience in marine or fire service industries.

Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong teamwork skills.

Attitude: Professional, positive, and willing to learn and grow within the organization.

Health & Safety: Knowledge of compliance with QHSE regulations and ISO standards.

Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and organized service station in line with VIKING’s 5S principles.
