Senior Accountant – Closing and Reporting Full Time

Your Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for executing financial closing and reporting tasks with accuracy and efficiency, in line with company standards and international accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

  • Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations for compliance with SFRGs, internal policies, and the Siemens Chart of Accounts.

  • Monitor ledger accounts and follow up on any identified discrepancies or anomalies.

  • Ensure books and records are accurate through balance sheet reviews and financial analysis.

  • Support statutory financial statement preparation and audit processes.

  • Provide support and governance for business units during financial closing, including accounting guidance and issue resolution.

  • Lead or support data migration and data cleansing activities for the new SAP P58 system.

  • Execute reporting processes using tools such as SAP, ESPRIT, ADSTAR, and Runbook.

  • Drive process improvements and develop internal controls to avoid repeated issues or discrepancies.

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration.

  • Part-qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in both public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and industry (Fortune 500 companies is a plus).

  • In-depth experience with SAP FICO and COPA modules; knowledge of ESPRIT and ADSTAR tools is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of ERM, financial governance, and internal control frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
