Job Summary:
The School Receptionist at Citizens School will serve as the first point of contact for parents, students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional administrative support. The role includes managing the reception area, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all visitors, and assisting with various administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:

Phone and Email Management: Answer and direct phone calls and emails to the relevant staff members or departments.

Visitor Interaction: Greet and welcome visitors to the school, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Direct visitors to the appropriate person or office.

Reception Area Management: Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.

Visitor Records: Maintain up-to-date records of visitors, including their purpose for visiting the school.

Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks like photocopying, scanning, filing, and bookkeeping related to marketing and administrative materials.

Event Assistance: Help plan and organize school events, including setup and cleanup of event spaces.

Inquiries and Assistance: Respond to inquiries from parents, students, and staff, providing information and support as needed.

Policies and Procedures: Adhere to school policies on data protection, confidentiality, and health and safety.

Meeting Minutes: Record meeting minutes and share them with the relevant team members when required.

Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role; experience in a school environment is a plus.
