Job Purpose:

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the store’s image. This role ensures customer satisfaction by addressing needs promptly and efficiently while adhering to brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, offer assistance, and ensure their needs are met in compliance with quality and service standards.
  • Engage in up-selling, cross-selling, and suggesting alternatives to maximize sales.
  • Manage inventory, including receiving shipments, conducting stock checks, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop floor.
  • Handle cash registers and process customer transactions accurately.
  • Fashion Specific: Take precise measurements for alterations and coordinate with the alteration team.
  • Multimedia & Lifestyle Specific: Promote additional products and services to meet sales targets.
  • Multimedia & Lifestyle, Sports, and Leisure Specific: Notify managers about unavailable or underperforming products and organize displays based on sales trends.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school degree.
  • Experience: 0-1 year in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Specific Expertise:
    • Sports Goods Retail: Knowledge of sports trends, enthusiasm, and customer engagement.
    • Multimedia & Lifestyle Retail: Expertise in technology, music, books, and lifestyle products.
