Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Retail Expansion Project Manager to lead the development of new flagship stores in line with our retail growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in the sports or outdoor equipment industry, along with a solid background in retail development, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Location Scouting: Identify and evaluate high-potential locations for new flagship stores based on market research and brand strategy.
• Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end construction process—from site acquisition to store launch—including managing communications with real estate agents, designers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Permits & Contracts: Secure all necessary permits and ensure legal and contractual obligations are fulfilled for new store openings.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, HR, IT, Logistics) to plan, support, and execute successful store openings.
• Timeline & Budget Management: Use tools like Asana to track project schedules, allocate resources, and control budgets efficiently.
• Store Performance Review: Monitor the operational performance of new locations and provide actionable insights for future optimization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports/outdoor retail or related industry.
• Hands-on knowledge of retail operations and sales processes.
• Strong skills in vendor negotiation and project coordination, especially with external partners such as architects, real estate agencies, and store fit-out providers.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
