Job Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms promptly and professionally
• Guide guests through the reservation process and provide accurate information regarding availability and seating options
• Manage and update reservations using the restaurant reservation system
• Monitor booking patterns to optimize table utilization and reduce wait times
• Address guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns in a courteous and efficient manner
• Make personalized recommendations based on guest preferences, dietary restrictions, or occasions
• Coordinate with restaurant and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and seating arrangements
• Manage the guest waitlist and provide timely updates and accurate wait time estimates
• Build rapport with regular guests and ensure all guests feel welcome
• Handle feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues where necessary
• Stay informed about current menus, special promotions, and restaurant offerings
• Maintain reservation records and assist in administrative tasks including report generation
• Support the organization and coordination of group bookings and special events

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in a reservations or front-of-house role, ideally within the hospitality or F&B industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with reservation software and standard office tools
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and restaurant operations is preferred
