Purpose of the Job:

The Quality Technologist will conduct standardized tests to assess the physical and chemical properties of raw materials and finished products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monitoring and testing of filling line samples (physical and chemical) to ensure product release.
• Conduct critical checks on startup and hourly for pH, Brix, product weight, date codes, and packaging artwork, confirming compliance.
• Ensure timely delivery of samples to the main lab for further testing and acceptance.
• Monitor packaging integrity through periodic testing and notify the line manager for corrective actions when required.
• Verify and confirm ingredient additions match issued recipes.
• Monitor temperature controls in cold stores, storage tanks, and other areas, ensuring timely corrective action if deviations occur.
• Conduct CCP (Critical Control Point) monitoring, ensuring limits meet standards and escalate issues to the line manager.
• Test machinery and tank cleaning effectiveness through scheduled swabs, ensuring sanitation standards are maintained.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Dairy Technology.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in the Dairy/Juice manufacturing sector.
• Hands-on experience with Fresh/UHT products.
