Product Specialist – Senior Level Full Time

About the Role

The Senior Product Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products to both new and existing customers through regular visits and relationship management. This role also includes after-sales support, in-service training, coaching junior staff, and staying updated on competitive market offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Product Promotion

  • Conduct consultative sales to identify and create customer needs.

  • Present and demonstrate company products and services to prospective and existing clients.

  • Develop new business accounts and ensure continuous growth of client base.

  • Provide technical details and product updates to clients.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues.

  • Act as the point of contact for product-related queries and support.

Reporting and Administration

  • Submit timely sales and marketing reports on a weekly basis.

  • Maintain accurate and updated customer records including contact details, ownership, and product usage.

  • Provide comprehensive client background information to support sales activities.

Training and Market Insight

  • Deliver training to end users on product applications and usage.

  • Share product and market knowledge with junior staff and support their development.

  • Stay informed on competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.

Support Functions

  • Assist in collecting outstanding payments for assigned accounts.

  • Represent the company at relevant industry conferences and workshops.

  • Use internal tools and marketing materials to support the sales process effectively.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Bioscience, Nursing, Chemistry, Veterinary, or a related science field.

Experience and Skills

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Bilingual in Arabic and English.

  • Valid UAE driving license and access to a car.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
