As a Principal/CEO, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and development of Jumeirah College, ensuring the school continues to maintain its Outstanding rating and exceptional global reputation. We are looking for an educational leader committed to excellence in teaching, learning, modern pastoral care, and co-curricular development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the school community in providing outstanding, all-round education for students.

  • Ensure the continued success of the curriculum, focusing on innovative and effective teaching and learning practices.

  • Lead the implementation of modern pastoral care systems, fostering emotional, social, and academic development.

  • Oversee the continued enhancement of the co-curricular program, ensuring engagement and development of students outside the classroom.

  • Act as a strategic leader, contributing to the ongoing growth and expansion of the school.

  • Build strong, positive relationships with staff, students, and the wider community.

  • Strengthen partnerships with Jumeirah Primary School and other stakeholders, aligning the educational journey for students.

  • Work closely with the Board, Senior Leadership Team, and all stakeholders to enhance the global awareness and world citizenship philosophy of the school.

  • Maintain and foster a culture of excellence, ensuring continued high achievement in both academic and personal development.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a senior educational leader, with a visionary approach to the future of education.

  • Strong commitment to teaching excellence and the ability to inspire both students and staff.

  • Proven track record in pastoral care, curriculum development, and co-curricular leadership.

  • Experience in managing educational facilities, developing programs, and leading teams effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster relationships across diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England and experience in delivering GCSE and A-level programs.

  • A passion for global awareness, cultural diversity, and creating a positive school culture that embraces internationalism.

  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students and staff.
