Press Relations Specialist Part Time

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Public Relations & Media Relations Specialist to join our growing agency. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building strategic media relationships, securing high-profile exposure, and elevating client visibility in the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

• Media Relations & Publicity
  Secure podcast appearances for clients on prominent UAE-based platforms
• Pitch and place clients in major news outlets, magazines, and top blogs
• Build and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers
• Draft compelling press releases, pitches, and media kits
• Awards & Recognition
• Research and shortlist relevant industry awards (local and international)
• Prepare and submit high-quality nominations with strong supporting materials
• Coordinate award event participation and use wins for PR leverage
• Speaking Opportunities & Events
• Identify and secure panel or keynote speaking opportunities for clients
• Manage booth sponsorships and negotiate participation at industry events
• Liaise with event organizers and manage client presence at conferences and workshops
• Strategic Partnership Development
• Cultivate a network of industry influencers and stakeholders
• Identify strategic collaborations that align with client branding goals
• Coordinate networking and partnership events for visibility and engagement

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in PR, media relations, or communications
• Strong track record of earned media placements and publicity results
• Established network within UAE media (TV, print, podcasts, blogs)
• Experience with award nomination processes
• Excellent written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines independently
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with UAE’s business and media landscape
• Experience working in a PR or communications agency
• Understanding of social media and content marketing
• Event coordination and planning experience
