About the Role:

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Corporate Technical Superintendent oversees technical projects, major repairs, dry dockings, and the implementation of standardized technical procedures across all Business Units. This role serves as a critical link between corporate leadership and operational teams, ensuring technical excellence and compliance throughout the fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Project Oversight:

• Implement and review technical procedures across the division.
• Support and guide BU Technical Managers and Superintendents.
• Approve and monitor technical project documentation and execution.

Dry Dockings & Major Repairs:

• Plan, supervise, and manage vessel dry dockings, major repairs, and refits.
• Maintain a 5-year docking and overhaul schedule.
• Evaluate and approve Authorizations for Expenditure (AFEs).

Maintenance & PMS Oversight:

• Support Divisional maintenance procedures.
• Oversee and ensure accurate PMS/ERP software usage (ABS NS preferred).
• Analyze and reduce OPEX related to repairs, maintenance, and dockings.

Technical Standards & Compliance:

• Monitor implementation of divisional technical standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, Flag State, and Classification Society rules.

Reliability Monitoring:

• Analyze and verify divisional reliability data and KPIs.

Requirements:

• Marine Engineering Class 1 Certificate of Competency or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent.
• Experience with vessels over 500 GRT (preferably offshore, AHTS, or harbor tugs).
• Proven expertise in ship repair, dry dockings, and project mobilization.
• Strong understanding of ISM, ISPS, and marine classification systems.
• Proficiency in PMS/ERP systems (ABS NS preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel globally on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications:
