Key Responsibilities
As a Cashier, your main duties will include:

Transaction Handling: Efficiently process cash, credit, and debit transactions with high accuracy.

Payment Processing: Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.

Shift Balancing: Ensure the cash register is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries politely and professionally.

Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the cashier’s desk clean and organized for a smooth workflow.

Discrepancy Reporting: Report any discrepancies or technical issues with the register to management.

Financial Reporting: Assist with daily financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.

Compliance: Adhere to company policies regarding payment processing and data confidentiality.
Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in accounting or finance is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred.

Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
