Position Summary

We are currently seeking a talented Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will support the Pastry Chef in producing premium pastries, desserts, and confections in line with Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the quality, presentation, and authenticity of all pastry items.
• Supervise and collaborate with the assigned kitchen section to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure dishes are prepared and delivered on time with consistent quality and presentation.
• Maintain and update plating guides and recipe documentation.
• Manage daily ingredient requests, inventory, and kitchen efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, HACCP, and food safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma required; degree/diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in 5-star hotels or upscale restaurants.
• Experience working in high-volume, service-driven environments.
• International exposure in at least two of the following regions: Asia, Europe, North America, Middle East.
• Pre-opening or renovation experience is an advantage.
• Strong technical skills in pastry preparation, plating, and presentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance.
