Part-Time Event Assistant – Brand Lounge, Dubai Part Time

Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Part-Time Event Assistant to join the events and activation division. In this role you will support the planning and delivery of brand launches, activations, workshops and client-facing events in Dubai. You will work as part of a small team to ensure flawless execution of event logistics, guest experience and on-site operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and enjoys being part of the live event industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the set-up and breakdown of event venues: arranging furniture and signage, overseeing technical set up (audio, visuals), coordinating with on-site venue staff and external vendors.
• Welcome guests, manage registration and check-in, guide attendees, assist with guest enquiries and ensure a smooth guest flow throughout the event.
• Monitor event schedule, coordinate timing of sessions, speaker hand-offs and break times, and ensure programme runs as intended.
• Work closely with internal creative, production and strategy teams, and external partners (caterers, venues, suppliers) to ensure all pre-event checklists, branding assets, and logistic requirements are complete.
• After the event, support asset pack-down, inventory management of materials and equipment, cleanup of venue, and ensure all items are returned or stored appropriately.
• Provide post-event support including gathering basic feedback, assisting in debrief meetings, helping collate event spend/invoice data and flagging any issues or learning points.
• Maintain high levels of professionalism in appearance, guest interactions and brand representation at every stage of the event.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience (even part-time or event-volunteer) in events, hospitality or activation roles is desirable.
• Good communication skills in English; ability to engage professionally with clients and guests; additional languages (e.g., Arabic) are an advantage.
• Flexible availability, able to work varied hours including evenings and weekends depending on event schedule.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly in a live-setting.
• Smart, friendly and professional demeanour; comfortable working in teams and with external partners.
• Able to assist with moderate physical tasks (lifting or moving equipment, setting up furniture/displays) when needed.

Working Hours & Terms:

• Part-time basis; hours will vary depending on event calendar and may include evenings or weekend shifts.
• Compensation will be competitive and aligned with experience, shift demands and responsibilities.
• Based in Dubai; travel to event venues across the city as required.
