This high-impact role focuses on driving cloud adoption, building long-term customer relationships, and supporting industry transformation through AWS technologies. You’ll work directly with decision-makers, technical leaders, and influencers across the MEGS ecosystem, helping them harness AWS to innovate and grow.

Role Overview

As a Principal Business Development Manager, you will:

• Lead customer engagement and drive the adoption and expansion of AWS cloud solutions across MEGS industries in the MENAT region.
• Influence and co-develop AWS services by sharing customer feedback and industry trends with internal teams.
• Build strategic relationships with C-level executives and technical stakeholders to position AWS as a trusted advisor.
• Identify and execute on opportunities to accelerate digital transformation and cloud migration.
• Serve as a thought leader and evangelist, helping customers and partners unlock the full value of AWS.

You’ll collaborate with account teams, field marketing, partners, and solution architects to create industry-aligned business strategies and initiatives. From onboarding to execution, you’ll support customers throughout their AWS journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and grow strategic, technical, and commercial relationships with MEGS customers and partners in KSA and the wider MENAT region.
• Drive adoption of AWS services and programs by educating industry stakeholders and promoting customer success stories.
• Contribute to global MEGS strategy and collaborate with AWS teams across regions.
• Lead account planning efforts and support local sales teams with strategic planning and execution.
• Deliver executive-level business reviews and performance insights.
• Support cloud migration, market development, and industry-specific workload initiatives.
• Travel as needed to support customers, partners, and AWS events.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Partnering with local AWS account teams to support enterprise customers.
• Advising on best practices for media, gaming, or sports workloads.
• Developing market intelligence and driving cloud transformation initiatives.
• Reporting key metrics and progress to regional and global leadership.
• Engaging with AWS partners and solutions teams to unlock new business opportunities.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll join a global team of MEGS industry experts, collaborating across EMEA, North America, and Asia Pacific. Together, we support strategic accounts, drive innovation, and help shape the cloud future for some of the most recognized brands in the world.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years’ experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
• Proven experience creating business strategies that influence senior leadership.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience within the Media, Entertainment, Games, or Sports industries.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills at the CxO level.
• Business-level fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with or selling to Fortune 1000 / Global 2000 enterprises.
• Proficiency in Arabic for business conversations is a strong plus.
• Deep technical understanding of cloud technologies and their application in MEGS use cases.
• A track record of driving industry-specific transformation using innovative technologies.
