Logistics Data Analyst Full Time

About the Role

Emerson is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support its 5-year strategic growth plan in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. This role focuses on regional procurement, logistics, and specialized sourcing related to metering skid systems. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with engineering and supply chain teams to meet project-specific requirements and drive supply chain improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Source indirect materials and services (including MRO), ensuring optimal cost and minimal risk.
• Procure specialized components for metering skids (valves, flow meters, sensors, instrumentation).
• Manage the full RFx process and maintain RFQ, AVL, and opportunity trackers.
• Ensure all procurement aligns with technical specifications and engineering requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to improve profitability and working capital.
• Build strategic supplier relationships to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
• Assess and qualify suppliers for their ability to meet technical and quality standards.
• Collaborate on logistics, customs, and regulatory compliance across MEA markets.
• Support data management and master data accuracy for logistics assets.
• Resolve procurement, invoicing, and supplier-related disputes efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Emerson’s Code of Ethics and internal policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a matrix organization, preferably in oil & gas, chemicals, or utilities.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical buying experience in metering skid systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with customs handling and logistics across the MEA region.
• Familiarity with e-sourcing tools like SAP Ariba.
• Experience using ERP platforms such as Oracle.
• Professional certifications: CIPS, CIPP/PM, or CSCP.
