Logistics Coordinator – Prime Express Dubai Full Time

Job Description:

Prime Express International Courier is a well‑established logistics and freight forwarding company based in Dubai, specialising in air, sea, and road cargo services with a strong global delivery network. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team and support efficient shipment management, process coordination and supply chain optimisation.

In this role, you will be the vital link between our clients, carriers and internal operations team. You will manage the movement of goods from origin to destination, coordinate documentation for freight, schedule transport and ensure timely delivery. You will also monitor shipment statuses, update customers, and collaborate with warehouse, customs and freight teams to handle imports/exports effectively. Your ability to react quickly to challenges, track logistics flows and maintain clear communication will help us deliver on our commitment to reliability, cost‑efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end‑to‑end logistics operations including shipment booking, carrier selection, transport scheduling and delivery tracking.
• Prepare, review and maintain accurate shipping documentation such as bills of lading, airway bills, customs declarations and commercial invoices.
• Liaise with clients, freight agents and internal stakeholders to communicate statuses, handle queries and ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor shipment progress, identify and resolve delays or issues, and update customers accordingly.
• Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure proper handling, storage and dispatch of goods.
• Analyse transport costs and performance data to recommend improvements and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with UAE and international trade regulations, and ensure operations align with company standards and quality controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 1‑3 years of experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of air, sea and road freight processes, import/export procedures and documentation.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with logistics software or tracking systems.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, team‑oriented, and customer‑focused.
