Job Description

A reputable logistics and import–export services provider in Dubai is seeking a qualified Logistics Coordinator – Import & Export to support its growing operational requirements. This role is suited for professionals who have a solid understanding of logistics coordination, shipment planning, and international trade procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant movement of goods while maintaining high operational standards.

The position requires close coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders to manage shipments efficiently across air, sea, and land transport modes. The Logistics Coordinator will contribute to maintaining service quality, minimizing delays, and supporting overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

● Coordinate end-to-end import and export operations for air, sea, and land shipments
● Prepare, review, and manage shipping and customs documentation, including invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, and clearance paperwork
● Communicate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, transport providers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely cargo clearance and delivery
● Track shipment schedules and cargo status, identifying and resolving delays, discrepancies, or documentation issues
● Maintain accurate logistics records and update internal systems with shipment, inventory, and delivery data
● Provide professional communication to clients, offering shipment updates and responding to operational inquiries
● Ensure full compliance with UAE customs regulations and internal procedures
● Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service performance

Required Qualifications & Skills

● Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
● Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or import–export operations, preferably in the UAE
● Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and customs clearance processes
● Excellent organizational and time-management skills
● Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment
● Proficiency in MS Office and logistics or ERP systems
● Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
