Linen Care Specialist Full Time

Position Summary:

As a Laundry Attendant, you will operate and monitor washing, drying, and dry-cleaning equipment. Your duties will include:

• Adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps
• Identifying and sorting stained or damaged items for repair, spot treatment, or discard
• Inspecting items post-wash and placing them into linen carts
• Setting dryer times and temperatures per fabric requirements
• Folding articles by hand or with a folding machine
• Recording laundered items accurately
• Removing lint and cleaning equipment after each load

General Responsibilities:

• Follow safety protocols and company procedures
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions
• Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets
• Support teamwork and respond to employee concerns
• Seek ways to improve quality, safety, and efficiency
• Inspect tools and equipment for defects
• Perform job functions including lifting, standing, bending, and moving on uneven surfaces

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: No high school diploma or GED required
• Experience: No related or supervisory experience required
• Licenses/Certifications: None

Working Conditions:

• Physically demanding environment requiring extended standing, lifting (up to 25 pounds), and moving through tight or elevated spaces
