The Role:
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills who can handle the fast-paced environment of luxury hospitality while maintaining the highest service standards. You will be responsible for assisting in the daily restaurant operations and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.

Guest Engagement: Interact with guests throughout their dining experience, anticipating needs, resolving issues, and exceeding expectations.

Team Management: Assist in recruiting, training, and managing the restaurant team, motivating them to deliver outstanding service.

Financial Oversight: Help manage budgets, achieve financial targets, and implement cost control measures without compromising quality.

Collaborative Coordination: Work closely with the culinary team to deliver outstanding culinary experiences and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the restaurant, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations for the team, providing feedback and recognizing top performers.

Business Development: Participate in marketing initiatives and curated promotions to elevate the guest experience and drive profitability.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging culinary techniques, and customer preferences to enhance the dining experience.
Requirements:

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Floor Supervisor, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel environment.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.

Skills: Proficiency in restaurant management software, POS systems, and a strong knowledge of food safety standards.

Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of the hotel.

Appearance: Professional, polished appearance in line with FIVE’s grooming standards.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

Leadership: Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with a hands-on, proactive attitude and an ability to motivate and inspire a team.
