Kitchen Line Staff Full Time NEW

Position Summary:

You will be responsible for supporting food preparation and cooking tasks in line with Marriott’s quality standards and safety protocols.

Key Duties:

• Prepare ingredients (chopping, portioning, storing)
• Wash, peel, and handle fruits and vegetables
• Cook food as per recipes and standards
• Operate kitchen equipment: ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, microwaves
• Monitor food quality and check proper cooking temperatures
• Set up and break down workstations
• Ensure kitchen hygiene: wash tools, disinfect surfaces
• Serve food in correct portions and presentation

Maintain accurate food prep checklists

Compliance & Conduct:

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Report unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors
• Maintain a professional appearance and clean uniform
• Communicate clearly and courteously with colleagues
• Support team goals and build positive relationships
• Be physically fit: able to stand, lift (up to 25 lbs), bend, and move throughout shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience
• Supervisory Role: Not required
• License/Certification: None required
