As an International Regional Services Specialist (RSS), you will provide critical support to Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL) international clients, ensuring they receive the necessary technical, operational, and logistical support. The RSS will assist in onboarding new clients, training them on MCL services, and helping to foster strong client relationships to promote satisfaction and retention. This role requires an understanding of all phases of reference laboratory diagnostic testing, from specimen collection to result delivery.
This position requires substantial travel within your assigned region to meet clients, and work is conducted remotely with an office set up at your home in Dubai.
Client Support: Provide support for international clients, guiding them through MCL’s offerings, including test orders, specimen shipment, and result retrieval.
Onboarding: Design and deliver tailored onboarding programs for new clients, covering MCL’s test menu, services, logistics, and more.
Account Management: Develop deep relationships with established accounts, identifying opportunities for growth and addressing client concerns and unmet needs.
Cross-department Collaboration: Work with Sales and other departments to ensure effective service delivery and client satisfaction.
Client Education: Provide ongoing education about new tests, applications, and updates to clients.
Travel and Communication: Co-host client visits, using a mix of in-person, virtual, and email communication to engage with clients.
Documentation: Maintain records of all client interactions and activities, using Microsoft Dynamics CRM to track and manage client information.
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a science or business-related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, or 5 years in operations, customer service, or sales. Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is highly preferred.
Language Skills: Multilingual skills and cultural awareness are essential.
Travel: Must be willing to travel extensively (up to 80% domestic and international).
Licensure: Valid passport and driver’s license are required.
Leadership and Outreach: Leadership experience or experience in outreach programs is a plus.
Customer Focused: Ability to manage multiple projects, deliver creative solutions, and work in a customer-focused manner.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrates decision-making abilities and creative problem-solving.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present information effectively to diverse audiences.
Independence: Able to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions.
Location: The role is based in Dubai, UAE, with remote work from home arrangements.
Travel: Up to 80% travel required for the position, with flexibility for weekend work as needed.
Schedule: Full-time position with 80 hours per pay period.
