Your Role:
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards, ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. Your key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:

Receive work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor, and sign the key log book accurately.

Report any maintenance issues or concerns immediately.

Vacuum carpets, clean upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, and empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.

Make beds, clean sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors, and polish brass and metal surfaces.

Replenish bathroom and room supplies.

Neatly arrange guest toilet articles and perform spot cleaning of carpets when necessary.

Keep corridors, service pantries, and public areas neat and tidy at all times.

Inform valet services to collect guest laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing requests.
Ideal Candidate:
-
A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role at a four or five-star hotel or in a comparable industry.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to engage with diverse teams and guests from different cultures.

A keen eye for detail, ensuring high performance standards.

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
-
Technical proficiency in related software is a plus.
