As a Restaurant Manager at FIVE, you will lead and inspire the team to deliver industry-leading guest experiences. Your responsibility is to oversee the smooth operation of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards, seamless dining experiences, and the achievement of financial targets. Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel is preferred.
Experience in a luxury Japanese concept restaurant, preferably in dynamic, opulent environments with performances by world-renowned DJs.
Skills and Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of Japanese cuisine, culture, and dining etiquette.
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
Mastery of Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong knowledge of Restaurant Management software and POS systems.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and restaurant operations best practices.
Proven ability to achieve financial targets and manage budgets effectively.

Ability to think creatively and find solutions in a fast-paced environment.
A welcoming and enthusiastic personality with a “Can-Do!” attitude.
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

Guest Experience:
Lead the team in delivering exceptional service by personally engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are anticipated and exceeded.
Restaurant Operations:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of all restaurant activities, including service delivery, table management, and customer satisfaction.
Ambience & Presentation:
Enhance the dining atmosphere by curating the ambiance, including décor, lighting, and music, to create an immersive Japanese dining experience.
Team Leadership:
Lead the team with an emphasis on training, development, and motivation. Conduct regular meetings and training sessions to improve service skills, product knowledge, and team cohesion.
Financial Management:
Maximize revenue and profitability through strategic planning, cost control measures, and pricing strategies. Analyze financial reports to monitor sales trends, food costs, and labor costs, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Collaboration with Culinary Team:
Work closely with the Executive Chef to create a bespoke menu that showcases authentic, innovative Japanese cuisine, and ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Oversee the restaurant’s inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing wastage, and maximizing the efficiency of resource utilization.
Health & Safety:
Enforce stringent health and safety standards, including sanitation and food quality control measures, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
