Position Summary

As a Guest Service Expert at Sheraton, you will create memorable dining experiences that go beyond just serving food. Your role is crucial in building unique guest interactions through attentive service, efficient operations, and a welcoming atmosphere. You will handle various tasks—from setting up tables and communicating with the kitchen to serving guests and maintaining cleanliness—ensuring every meal feels special.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare dining areas, set tables, and ensure all service items are ready for guests.
• Engage with guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages professionally.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas, including tables, service stations, and equipment.
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously.
• Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and company policies to uphold quality standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, or move for extended periods on various surfaces (including uneven or slippery floors).
• Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 25 lbs independently and 50 lbs with assistance.
• Bend, twist, reach overhead, and stoop as needed during service.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience: Less than 1 year in a related role (training provided).
• Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and a guest-focused attitude.
• Certifications: None required (on-the-job training provided).
