Fine Dining Supervisor Full Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Culinary Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations, ensure food quality, and support a positive team culture. You will supervise cooks and kitchen staff, manage food presentation, and support daily kitchen logistics to maintain high culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations and staff activities
• Ensure food presentation, portion control, and garnish meet quality standards
• Assist with food preparation, special meals, and substitute menu items
• Inform service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items
• Monitor and maintain food inventory and kitchen supply levels
• Maintain food safety standards and kitchen logs
• Report product quality issues to management
• Support management in hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling staff
• Ensure personal and team compliance with safety, hygiene, and grooming standards
• Maintain professional communication and teamwork across departments
• Handle guest service needs professionally and promptly
• Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Diploma/Certificate from a Technical, Trade, or Culinary School
• Work Experience: 4–6 years in a related culinary role
• Supervisory Experience: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory capacity
• Certifications: Food safety and hygiene certification (preferred, not required)

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills
