We’re looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Dubai office and support our financial operations across our UAE, UK, and USA offices.
Financial Transactions & Record Maintenance: Record all financial transactions accurately in XERO, ensuring correct documentation.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the company’s accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
General Ledger & Month-End Journals: Maintain the general ledger accounts and manage month-end journals, fixed assets, and prepayments.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and track cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for smooth business operations.
Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
Payroll & Employee Benefits: Process salary and wage payments across the UAE, UK, USA, including reimbursements, tax, and deductions. Manage employee benefits (pension, medical insurance, gratuity, air tickets).
VAT Compliance: Ensure compliance with local VAT regulations, collecting and remitting taxes as required for each region.
Closing Processes: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and provide support during external audits.
Regional Support: Provide support for financial queries specific to the UAE, UK, and USA, and assist across different time zones.
Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record maintenance.
Experience in global finance and handling financial processes across multiple countries and time zones (UAE, UK, USA).
Strong knowledge of XERO or similar financial software tools.
Experience managing payroll and employee benefits across multiple countries.
Familiarity with local VAT and tax regulations for the UAE, UK, and USA.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Hybrid Work: This is a hybrid role based in the Dubai office, with a requirement to work 3 days per week in the office.
