Job Overview

RGSGD is seeking a dependable and proactive Sports Administrator to support the daily operations of the PE and Sports Department. The role is essential to ensuring the smooth execution of fixtures, tours, co-curricular programs, and sports-related events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Equipment Management

• Label, organize, and maintain sports kits and equipment
• Conduct regular stock checks and replacements
• Assist with setup and cleanup for sports activities

2. Fixtures & Administration

• Manage fixtures, team lists, schedules via SOCS platform
• Coordinate logistics: transport, medical support, catering
• Share timely communication with staff, students, and parents

3. Communication Support

• Respond to parent queries professionally
• Maintain accurate records, consent forms, and registers

4. Event Logistics

• Attend and support fixtures, tours, competitions, and awards events
• Assist with student management and logistics
• Help with photography, registration, and on-the-ground coordination

5. Social Media Promotion

• Create engaging content showcasing sports achievements
• Collaborate with the Comms team for consistent messaging

6. General Department Support

• Handle clerical duties like printing, filing, and spreadsheets
• Provide support during peak periods with a flexible, team-focused attitude

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

• A-levels or equivalent; sport or admin qualifications a plus
• Strong IT skills (spreadsheets, admin tools); SOCS experience ideal

Experience:

• Admin or logistics role experience in school or sports environments
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
