We are currently hiring a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Dubai, UAE and help us connect people and improve lives!
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Logistics Operations:
-
Transport materials/products with a heavy truck and ensure on-time physical delivery.

Unload goods from delivery vans and verify container/trailer descriptions against documentation.
-
Compare received goods with receiving tally sheets, noting discrepancies.
-
Store received goods in the appropriate warehouse locations using mechanical equipment (PPT, Hand-jacks).
-
Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanners.
-
Perform cycle counts and quality control checks.
-
Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and damage-free handling.
-
Operate forklifts, reach trucks, Bendi trucks, clamp trucks, and slip sheet machines after training and licensing.
Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to Health & Safety policies as described in DHL’s H&S manual.

Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Report unsafe practices or health & safety concerns to supervisors.

Ensure that warehouse security procedures are followed.

Conduct regular maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
Customer Service & Team Collaboration:

Handle customer goods with due diligence.
-
Ensure all items are labeled properly before storage or dispatch.

Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to maintain smooth operations.

Address task-related issues while maintaining positive work relationships.

Follow Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for individual customers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
-
Vocational/Specialized/Technical Certification.
-
Less than 2 years of experience in warehousing or logistics.
Skills & Competencies:
-
Valid driving license (preferred for heavy trucks).

Understanding of transportation regulations, warehousing, and workplace safety.

Ability to operate inventory management systems and data entry tools.
-
Good geographical knowledge for transportation operations.
-
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
