Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Dubai team. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations, support audit engagements, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to high-quality financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, amortisations, and accruals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Support audit and assurance engagements by providing working papers, schedules, and responses to audit queries.
• Assist with VAT and corporate tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to clarify accounting issues and provide financial insights.
• Implement and maintain internal control procedures to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses to support decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within audit or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA) or currently pursuing one is an advantage.
