Development Lead Full Time

Overview:

CHANEL seeks a dynamic Learning Manager to support excellence in client experience and fashion/style expertise within its Dubai Mall Fashion boutique. You will lead a team of two Learning Partners, define the boutique’s training strategy, and deliver high-impact learning experiences that enhance client engagement and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organized & Impactful Training Delivery (40%)

• Coordinate and implement boutique-specific training sessions in collaboration with the Fashion Learning and Style Expertise Manager.
• Deliver trainings on collections, client experience, and boutique operations via in-boutique sessions, the Training Room, and Fashion School.
• Plan and maintain a training calendar based on boutique needs and collection launches.
• Customize content based on local buying behavior and management feedback.
• Use engaging and business-relevant formats to ensure retention and performance impact.

2. Boutique Floor Coaching (30%)

• Coach Fashion Advisors and other roles directly on the floor.
• Develop action plans for improving client experience using coaching insights.
• Foster a culture of feedback and development across all boutique roles.

3. Communication, Follow-Up & Reporting (30%)

• Act as liaison between boutique teams, regional HQ, and Paris Learning Managers.
• Guide onboarding of new team members with structured learning journeys.
• Ensure pre-work completion and provide follow-up coaching to reinforce learning.
• Regularly report on training impact using KPIs and qualitative insights.

• Proven experience in a dedicated training role, ideally in luxury retail or fashion.
• Advanced organizational and planning skills.
• A warm, humble, and approachable demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for trends and style.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching abilities.
• High emotional intelligence and integrity.
• Arabic, Tagalog, or Chinese language skills are a plus.
