Deputy Head (Academics) Full Time

About the Role

Raffles International School (RIS), an Outstanding BSO and Very Good KHDA-rated school, is seeking an experienced and qualified Deputy Head (Academics) to join its Senior Leadership Team in August 2025. The school follows the English National Curriculum and has a strong focus on both academic performance and student well-being.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Secondary and the Principal, while also liaising with both primary and secondary leadership teams.

Key Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree plus PGCE with QTS or equivalent

• Master’s Degree or higher preferred

• Experience in a senior or middle leadership role in a high-performing school

• Proven track record of impact on attainment, curriculum innovation, and school community engagement

• English as a first language

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive education practices

• A genuine passion for teaching and learning

• Commitment to creative and imaginative teaching with a focus on individual student progress

• Ability to lead by example, inspire staff, and foster a culture of high expectations
