Join the kitchen brigade of a five-star luxury hotel and assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes that reflect the InterContinental brand’s excellence. As a Commis I, you’ll support the culinary team in day-to-day kitchen operations, maintain hygiene standards, and deliver exceptional guest dining experiences.
Prepare and plate dishes according to standardized recipes and portion control.
Assist in daily food preparation and ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation.
Adhere to HACCP and food safety standards in handling and storing food.
Communicate with service and support teams to meet guest preferences.
Monitor stock rotation and minimize food waste.
Support the kitchen team in delivering consistent culinary excellence.
Previous experience as a commis chef in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Passion for food and eagerness to learn.
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
