Job Purpose

Support the Manager / Unit Head – Business Process Controls by ensuring the Personal Banking Group (PBG) maintains robust, compliant, and well-monitored processes in alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Market Conduct Call Backs in line with Central Bank regulations and escalate irregularities.
• Compile and analyze reports such as:
• Daily Negative Balance Summary
• Cheque Return Reports (>4 Returns)
• Pending Exit Reports
• Perform spot checks and operational reviews in high-risk areas as guided by management.
• Review branch voucher bundles and follow up on discrepancies or deviations.
• Ensure branches comply with internal policy requirements and submit periodic reports to Business Risk & Governance.
• Coordinate cheque book delivery and enforce related control measures.
• Monitor branch vault access, including timing, combination changes, and dual-control protocols.
• Regularly follow up with branches on operational tasks and escalate recurring errors.
• Track and follow up on overdraft accounts to ensure timely regularization.
• Review Private Banking callbacks, validate documentation, and escalate discrepancies.
• Handle Dormant Account Verifications, Banca call backs, and related control processes.
• Manage Banca operations including:
• Application form processing
• Service call/Master file MIS
• Complaint tracking
• Customer retention (missed premium debit follow-ups)
• Minimum balance charge reversals
• Customer lifecycle and onboarding processes
• Prepare and circulate Banca performance reports (commissions, incentives).
• Support third-party onboarding and perform quality checks.
• Assist with KYC, AML escalations, EID tracking, expired trade licenses, cheque return monitoring, and account exits.
• Review and support closure of operational risk issues.
• Support new projects across the Personal Banking Group.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Management.

Experience:

• 3–5 years in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of branch operations, customer documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Skills:

• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with UAE Central Bank regulations and internal banking controls
