Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes aligned with FIVE’s culinary standards and visual artistry.

  • Assist senior chefs in creating hand-crafted culinary experiences and signature dishes.

  • Contribute creatively to menu development through innovative flavors and presentation.

  • Maintain well-organized and clean workstations, ensuring efficient mise en place and stock rotation.

  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP practices.

  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain equipment in excellent working condition.

  • Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen staff to uphold a fast-paced, energetic kitchen culture.

  • Deliver tasks with precision and reliability, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Commis 3 or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.

  • Culinary Degree or equivalent qualification preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.

  • Excellent knife skills and a good understanding of kitchen equipment handling.

  • Familiarity with HACCP and restaurant hygiene best practices.

  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

  • A can-do attitude, passion for culinary innovation, and great teamwork skills.
