Qatar Airways is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join its commercial team in Dubai. This role is responsible for delivering the revenue budget across a portfolio of accounts, driving revenue growth through strong commercial relationships, and negotiating agreements that enhance value and efficiency in sales and distribution processes.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and shift distribution channels.
Conduct regular reviews of sales data to identify revenue opportunities and drive tactical sales initiatives.
Lead the introduction and negotiation of PLB (Productivity Linked Bonus) agreements where applicable.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports, including call plans and performance tracking.
Maintain regular contact with trade and corporate partners to promote Qatar Airways products and services.
Provide market intelligence and recommendations to management on competitor activities, market trends, and potential opportunities or threats.
Acquire and nurture leads while distributing marketing materials and promotional items.
Increase Qatar Airways’ brand visibility through strategic marketing and event participation.
Support the implementation of new products and services and communicate special promotions to partners.
Recommend pricing strategies and assist in pricing requests for corporate clients and trade partners.
Manage key accounts with an emphasis on building long-term partnerships and delivering value.
Conduct research on competitor schedules, pricing, and practices, and recommend responsive strategies.
Represent Qatar Airways at trade exhibitions, events, and industry functions.
Build and maintain professional relationships with travel trade partners, embassies, government bodies, and commercial organizations.
Prospect and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years of job-related experience, ideally within the airline or travel industry.
Experience in a multicultural, high-paced, and target-driven environment.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Working knowledge of GDS systems and ticketing platforms.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Proven sales acumen and ability to manage client accounts effectively.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
