Position Summary

At The Ritz-Carlton, being a part of our housekeeping team goes beyond simply cleaning rooms. As a Guest Environment Expert, you play a key role in crafting a memorable and unique guest experience through exceptional service and attention to detail. You’ll ensure that all areas of the hotel are impeccably maintained and reflect the brand’s high standards of luxury and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas.
• Deliver guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Stock housekeeping carts and ensure supplies are readily available.
• Follow safety procedures and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Perform physically active duties including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Adhere to company policies, maintain confidentiality, and ensure your personal appearance and uniform reflect brand standards.
• Take initiative and move freely within your workspace to get tasks done with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Willingness to be on your feet and engage in hands-on tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move items safely as part of the cleaning duties.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
