Camp Care Assistant Full Time

About the Role:

Desert Group is seeking a qualified and compassionate Company Nurse to support the health and well-being of our employees across multiple worksites and camps. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations, providing first aid and emergency care, and promoting a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report injuries and health issues to the Line Manager/HR promptly
• Provide primary care and attend to employee medical needs
• Respond to medical emergencies at camps until external medical support arrives
• Submit health reports in line with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) standards
• Monitor international health and safety standards and recommend updates
• Track medical leaves and worker’s compensation claims; assist with insurance paperwork
• Follow up on occupational illnesses and implement necessary mitigation
• Manage outbreaks or infectious disease situations promptly and effectively
• Conduct regular health checks at camps and company accommodations
• Maintain first aid kits and ensure signage is clear and compliant with UAE labor laws

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Valid DHA License (Required)
• Strong communication and reporting skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Team player with a proactive and caring approach
