Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Demi Chef de Partie – Bakery to join our culinary team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and production of premium bakery items including artisan breads, pastries, and desserts, while ensuring top-quality standards in taste, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Chef de Partie in the day-to-day operations of the bakery section
• Prepare baked goods according to established recipes and quality expectations
• Set up and dismantle workstations before and after service periods
• Maintain accurate portion control and uphold consistency in product presentation
• Collaborate with the pastry team to create new menu items and seasonal offerings
• Conduct regular tastings and contribute to quality checks
• Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff as needed
• Ensure all health, hygiene, and safety regulations are followed at all times
• Monitor inventory and submit daily requisition orders for supplies
• Assist in designing buffet and display setups for events and daily service
• Participate in kitchen meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement
• Work as a food expediter during peak service hours
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Baking, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a 5-star hotel or upscale bakery environment
• Strong knowledge of bakery and pastry techniques
• Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation
• Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are an advantage
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
